Privacy Policy
No accounts
Lobble does not ask for an account, email address, or password. Your in-game identity is a randomly generated guest ID plus the username you choose. That information is stored in your browser's localStorage. If you clear browser storage or switch devices, Lobble treats you as a new player.
Age requirement
Lobble is for players who are at least 13 years old. Before entering a room, players must confirm they are 13 or older. Lobble stores that confirmation only in the player's browser and does not collect a birth date.
Technical data
Lobble briefly uses transient technical data, such as your IP address and user-agent, to keep your game session attached to you and to limit abuse. This data is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Rooms and game data
Rooms are temporary. Live room state is persisted in the room's Durable Object so a room can survive idle eviction. A room is kept for about a day after everyone leaves, so an invite still works for a friend who opens it later, and is then discarded.
Anonymous game results or summaries may be stored so Lobble can show highlights, improve gameplay, or understand aggregate usage. Stored summaries and reports are automatically deleted after about 30 days.
Bluff Me challenges
A Bluff Me challenge stores the name you chose, your three statements, which one is true, and each friend's pick. Picks are stored against a scrambled stand-in for the friend's guest ID, only so each friend gets one guess. Anyone with the link can open the challenge. It is deleted automatically after 30 days, and you can delete it sooner from the browser you made it in.
Daily Crews and their book
A Daily Crew stores its members' chosen names and their answers to each day's question and to any rounds they play there. A Crew that nobody uses for 60 days is deleted, and leaving a Crew removes your name and answers from it.
Choosing "Keep playing" after a game makes a Daily Crew for the people who tap in. Each of them is handed a private key for it, which is saved only in their own browser. Anyone who has a Crew's link can ask to join it, so share that link only with the people it is for.
A Crew's book holds only what a member chose to keep: a day's result, or a drawing or line that member made in a game. A result that names other members is not kept until each of them agrees. Any member can remove a kept moment, and a kept moment can be sent as a link that shows that one moment to whoever opens it. Nothing from a room is saved to a book unless the person who made it saves it.
Feedback you send
If you rate a game or send a note, Lobble stores the rating, the note, which game it was about and how many people were playing. It does not store who sent it, the room, or any identifier. Please do not put personal details in a note. Feedback is deleted after about six months.
Marking a question as dull adds one to a count kept for that question. Nothing about who marked it is stored.
How often you play
Your browser keeps a count of the different days you have played. Once a day it tells Lobble which of three groups that count falls in: a first day, a few days, or many. Lobble adds one to a total for that group. The count itself, and which days they were, never leave your browser.
Reports, kicks, and abuse records
If you report a player or are kicked, Lobble may store a minimal abuse record, including room-scoped player handles and any reason typed into the report flow, to help moderation and enforcement.
Analytics and advertising
Lobble does not use advertising trackers. The site uses privacy-friendly analytics only, and those analytics are not used to build advertising profiles.
